Developer of Acupoint Fluctuation Diagnostic Analyser

Pak Hyang Ran, a doctor of Yangji-dong Polyclinic in Phyongsong, South Phyongan Province, laid a foundation for making acupoint diagnosis more scientific.

In the past, acupoint diagnosis was not high in scientific accuracy due to various problems like the variability of information parameters and limitations of measurement conditions.

To resolve the problem, Pak conducted years of painstaking research.

In the course of this, she set the short-term fluctuation index of galvanic skin activity as an index of acupoint diagnosis and measurement and solved sci-tech problems for measuring the fluctuation index to a micro level. On this basis, she developed an acupoint fluctuation diagnostic analyser that can dynamically observe and comprehensively analyse the measurement index through computer.

The instrument that can quickly analyse and assess various changes in organic functions was highly appreciated at the 38th National Sci-tech Festival as it can estimate health status with a relatively higher accuracy.
