Efforts for Nursing and Upbringing of Children

The nursery in Phyongchon-dong No. 1, Phyongchon District of Pyongyang directs big efforts to the nursing and upbringing of children.

Having renovated the environment of the nursery last year, its nurses are enhancing their sense of responsibility to make the children grow up brightly and cheerfully in good health.

To develop the children’s intelligence they are making the daily routine of the children run through with songs and dances as suited to their psychological characteristics.

The nursery has set up a weekly menu in a diverse way for good nutritional management of the children.

Kim Jong Ran, a woman living in Phyongchon-dong No. 1, Phyongchon District, said: “I can see my child growing up quickly. She is good at songs as well. I am grateful to the nurses for their efforts.”
