With Kindred Affection

Days ago, a war veteran came to the prosthetic department of the Ryugyong Dental Hospital. He was Kim Yun Hong in his nineties living in Taesong District.

His overall health conditions were poor.

The reason for this was that he was at the advanced age and more importantly that he had not taken meals properly for months because of his teeth.

His oral cavity was not suitable for denture insertion.

Department chief Song Song Won convened an in-house meeting.

At the meeting he said: We should be sons and grandsons of war veterans and disabled soldiers before being dentists. We should look after them with all sincerity lest they should feel any inconvenience in their living because of their teeth. Doing so is an expression of respect for the revolutionary forerunners.

The department provided the war veteran with new denture and visited his home for further treatment, bringing various kinds of tonics and foodstuffs with them.

Moved by their sincerity, the old man sent a letter of gratitude and improvised poem to the hospital.

There are many other moving stories telling the sincere service of the medical workers of the prosthetic department of the Ryugyong Dental Hospital.

That is why the department is widely known as a group devoted to the treatment of patients.
