Bringing Delight of Recovery to Very Serious Patients

Health workers of the resuscitation and intensive care unit at Kim Man Yu Hospital are devoting themselves to the treatment of patients.
Most of their patients are very serious cases. So the doctors and nurses show paternal affection to the patients.
Some earlier, they devotedly treated a patient on whom the abdominal surgery department performed an abdominal operation for necrosis caused by mesenteric thrombosis.
Mesenteric thrombosis is a rare disease, or only 1% of acute abdomen cases. Once stricken by it, the case runs higher risks of death.
Worse still, the patient, who had the operation, had already been suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes and ciliary arrhythmia, requiring remedies concerning them.
Unit chief Ma Chol Ho, Pang In Chol, Kim Chol Min, Jong Myong Jun and other health workers placed the patient under a round-the-clock observation and management and applied rational procedures so that the patient could recover as early as possible.
Thanks to their unusual devotion, the patient came to leave the hospital in good health in 55 days.
In addition, they have brought delight of recovery to other very serious patients including those who suffered from severe combined traumas.
