Channelling Efforts into Nursing and Upbringing

The Sariwon Baby Home is located at the foot of Mt Kyongam in Sariwon, North Hwanghae Province. 

The home looks like a fairyland as it has all conditions that meet the children’s mind. 

It focuses on bringing up the orphans healthily and lively as the state provides things necessary for their growth on a regular and sufficient basis. 

It is not an easy job that the nurses should look for suckling babies and children aged 3-4 with different likings and dispositions. 

But they spare no efforts to raise the children to be strong and sound and develop their intellectual faculties.

Therefore, growth signs of all orphans such as body weight and height by ages have shown an over 10% up in recent years. 

Orphans are calling their nurses “mother” as they are taking care of them with maternal affection.
