Efforts Are Directed to Developing New Products and Improving Quality
The Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Supplies Factory in the DPRK strives to develop new products and improve quality.
Technicians of the factory attach great importance to going among sales units and consumers and listening to their voices.
They often visit commercial service networks and public health organs to listen to the opinions of the people on the factory products. They also make endeavours to get the detailed understanding of the main dental diseases and their prevention.
They take these efforts as an opportunity to determine the direction of research into new dental hygiene products timely and accurately. For example, they seek to find out what kinds of functional materials, flavours and essential oils should be added to the toothpaste in order to make it more efficacious.
They manufactured a toothpaste flake, attracting the attention of foreign experts and further improving the aesthetic and functional properties of the borneol toothpaste. They also developed functional toothpastes with various effects by setting a new rational mixing ratio and order of raw and other materials.
The factory also developed and produced high-quality toothbrushes of various shapes and colours, gargles, good-looking and easy-to-use denture brushes, toothpicks, dental floss, and tongue brushes and scrapers.
The factory’s Paekhak-brand products were highly appreciated at recent exhibitions and the factory was selected as one of the top 10 businesses in 2023 in the country.
