Respected Dentist

PhD and Associate Professor Pae Jae Son, chief of the orthodontic dental department of the Ryugyong Dental Hospital, is much respected by patients.

Making high demands on himself, he has steadily exerted himself to improve his medical qualifications.

In the course of this, he has mastered three foreign languages, compiled 24 textbooks, reference books and manuals, published 25 essays in national and international journals and trained many degree holders.

By creatively applying advanced diagnosis and treatment methods, he has cured patients whose treatment was regarded as impossible at home.

In the past, dental orthodontic mini-implant anchorage was monopolized by a few developed countries. But he manufactured it with domestic design, technology and raw materials to treat severe malocclusions.

Four years ago he cured a man of severe mandibular protrusion and, three years ago, a 12-year-old schoolboy who could hardly eat, laugh or speak because of a combination of dysphasia and dyspnea. 

He is still working hard for patients with undying passion.
