Unicolon, Natural Koryo Medicine

Unicolon, developed by the Chongchun Pharmaceutical Factory, enjoys growing popularity. 

According to PhD Rim Sin Yong, lead developer, unicolon is made of insam, bark of Amur cork, Artemisia messerschmidtiana, poria cocos, liquorice and other Koryo medicines plus multi-functional special growth promoters (C, G, F) and chlorella, drawing on a technology to amplify the efficiency of medicament.

It enhances immunity, regenerates and recovers cells and adjusts the central nervous system so that relevant diseases can be cured. It has a pharmacological effect on removing liver viruses, relieving fatigue and improving skin beauty. It also helps children grow tall.

It obtained a national patent. WIPO granted a patent to the medicine, rating it as the best in enhancing immunity.

“Two years ago when I became pregnant, my baby and I were at stake as I was suffering from anasarca and fluid collecting in the liver and heart. Worse still, I contracted retinitis,” said Pak Un Sim, a resident in Janghun-dong No 1, Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang .  “To my surprise, I was completely recovered after I took unicolon, and gave birth to a daughter. This is really the best medicine with marvelous effects,” she added.

Rim Sin Yong developed unicolon capsules into Baikal Skullcap and Unicolon Injection with more pharmaceutical effects, and made Insam and Siberian ginseng solution of unicolon series.

The medicines obtained patents of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
