National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention Newly Built

The National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has been built amid undertakings for perfectly ensuring the country’s anti-epidemic safety gaining momentum.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had solved all problems arising in the building and operation of the centre and led the builders to push ahead with the project dynamically.

In support of the Workers’ Party of Korea’s intention to make it an eternal policy of the DPRK government to ceaselessly develop public health, soldier-builders built the centre with a total floor space of thousands of square metres by meeting the requirements of building work and actively applying advanced construction methods. 

As a modern and informatized hygienic and anti-epidemic base of the country, it can provide a foundation for putting the examination of various kinds of pathogenic microorganisms on a standardized and scientific footing and regularly monitoring, controlling and managing the inflow, outbreak and spread of diseases.
