True to the determination, will and strategy of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, an all-people anti-epidemic campaign to overcome a serious public health crisis with initiative is getting momentum.

Medicines donated by the family of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were delivered to the households in difficult conditions in South Hwanghae Province.

Moved by the measures of the WPK Central Committee which is approaching them more closely the harder the time is, those who have received the medicines associated with the warm love and affection of Comrade Kim Jong Un and officials and working people across the country have turned out as one with the highest possible alertness in the struggle to thoroughly carry out the emergency anti-epidemic measures of the WPK and the state.

The medicines, foodstuff and daily necessities donated by the families of the officials of the departments of the WPK Central Committee, ministries, central organs and the leading officials of the Party and government organizations of different levels have been delivered to the households in difficult conditions.

Almost three thousand medics of the Korean People’s Army were immediately dispatched to the hundreds of drug stores in Pyongyang at the order of the WPK Central Committee. As soon as they arrived at the stores, they set up a round-the-clock service system to supply medicines to the citizens.

Thanks to the vanguard role of the leading officials of provinces, cities and counties, medicines are being delivered in time even to the villages on islands and in remote mountains and the front-line areas.

Amid the anti-epidemic struggle to thoroughly check and frustrate the source of the propagation of the malignant epidemic, more than 1 428 000 officials, teachers and students in the medical and anti-epidemic sector are devoting themselves to the scientific and intensive examination and treatment in their relevant areas.

Almost five hundred mobile rapid-response teams and diagnosis work groups have been formed across the country to wage anti-epidemic work and the confirmation, evacuation and treatment of the infectors.

The hygienic and anti-epidemic institutions are actively conducting hygienic information work among the residents in accordance with the standard treatment guides issued by the state. And the law enforcement organs are further intensifying legal supervision and control over negative practices.

Mindful of the fact that the current anti-epidemic campaign is an effort to defend the people, the officials of local Party and power organs are paying primary attention to the work to minimize the inconveniences and sufferings of the residents in their relevant areas and stabilize their living.

Many food and vegetables delivery teams have been organized and the booths set up in each ri and dong to promote the convenience of the residents. A large number of officials and working people have volunteered to work in such service teams.

In particular, various measures to take care of the work and life of anti-epidemic workers and to support the households in difficult conditions have been taken and the communist virtues and traits of sharing sweets and bitters have been displayed throughout the country.
