Sacred and Worthwhile Struggle

One day in January Juche 107 (2018) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the renovated Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory and unfolded a plan to turn it into a modern pharmaceutical factory of which the country could be proud before the world.

Officials felt grateful to him and at the same time remorseful that they had focused merely on sprucing up the factory’s buildings and upgrading its equipment in the late renovation project with a short-sighted view, failing to set a high goal for renovating them in conformity with international standards in all respects.

Looking at them, Kim Jong Un emphatically said: The modernization of the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory is not merely a businesslike issue for increasing the production of medicines but an important, sacred and worthwhile struggle to protect and promote the lives and health of our people and make them feel the advantages of the socialist healthcare system and the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policy on public health in their real life, not by words or books.
