While Listening to a Song

The song Ode to the Motherland was created on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

One day in September Juche 102 (2013), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said to officials that the newly-created Ode to the Motherland is a good song which vividly represents the ardent love for and pride in the motherland. 

The passage in the song In this country we call home all our dreams come true means that the wishes of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and all the ideals of the people come true in this land.

What he said reflected his firm faith and will to put the President’s and the Chairman’s wishes and his people’s beautiful dreams and ideals into reality without fail.
