In a Scenic Spot

The following happened when Chairman Kim Jong Il visited a scenic spot.

Walking on a wet sand beach, he said that there would be no country in the world as beautiful as ours and whenever he enjoyed such a scenic spot, he would harden his resolve to exalt the brilliance of his country.

He walked on for a while lost in thought. Then he continued: Had President Kim Il Sung not won back the country, scenic spot like this could have lost its brilliance; we should never forget that our country means his embrace but work hard to add glory to Korea.  

Earlier, in his teens, he had written the immortal song The Embrace of My Motherland, through which he presented the profound idea that the motherland is the embrace of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.
