Devotion Is Essential for Medical Treatment
One day in May 1993, an official was diagnosed as having cancer.
Hard to believe it, Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that the official was sent to a medically developed country for further examination.
The result of the general examination in that country was the same.
Greatly disappointed, the Chairman, in a resolute voice, said that he could not believe the diagnosis and it might be a mistake, and asked for finding out any other prestigious foreign hospital or medical team specializing in cancer treatment.
Under his concern, the patient received an examination for the third time at a hospital in Europe, but with the same result.
Then the Chairman took a measure to take him back home without delay and perform an operation on him.
Surprisingly, the operation was successful.
As the saying goes, devotion is essential for medical treatment. Moved by his endeavour to cure an official, the medical workers devoted their heart and soul to his treatment, performing a miraculous feat of turning impossible to possible.
Thanks to this affection, the patient was able to return to work in half a year.
