Tiny Drops of Water
In April Juche 53 (1964) the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il visited the Kanggye Youth Power Station.
While looking round the power station, he stopped when he saw several tiny drops of water on a corner of the ceiling.
With a worried expression on his face, he said that if the workplace was humid, the workers might contract arthritis and it could do them other harm, and that relevant measures should be taken soon.
Officials accompanying him said that they would do so at an early date. Kim Jong Il stressed that they must do so immediately, not at an early date, adding that the power station could not be commissioned unless thoroughgoing measures for protecting the health of workers and ensuring their labour safety were taken even though electric power supply was under strain, and that it was essential to fully guarantee the health of workers even if it meant a delay in its inaugural ceremony.
