Meticulous Care for Children’s Hospital

One day in July 2013, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of the children’s hospital in spite of heavy rain and wind that lasted for several days.

He gave instructions on sprucing up all the elements of the hospital excellently and headed for the hall passing round the playing area, asking the accompanying officials about the size of the area for in-patients care. Then he asked them if the laundry was included in the design.

As they explained to him that the laundry, ironing room and cloakroom were all included in the design, he said with satisfaction that the children’s hospital should have a laundry for washing children’s clothes.

He said with pleasure that it was good that the children’s hospital was designed to have all necessary conditions including laundry and ironing room for providing convenience to children during their stay in the hospital.

Then he inquired about the total number of beds and rooms in the in-patients care area. On hearing that it was planned to set up hundreds of beds in the in-patients rooms, he said that it would be good, adding that the rooms should be built as cozy as a home so that the in-patients would not feel that they were in hospital and that every room should be equipped with a TV set and a small refrigerator.
