Taking Measures for Noise Prevention

In November 2023, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Ryongsong Machine Complex.

Going round the various places of the complex which was stepping up the production of large compressors at the final stage, he indicated in detail the orientation and ways for modernizing the complex on a high level and paid close attention to the issue of improving the production environment.

Referring to the high noise in the production site, he said to the accompanying officials that no matter how important the production is, it can never be bartered with the health of workers.

He went on to say that officials should never neglect the workers' health, that when modernizing a factory, measures should be taken to reduce the noise at the production sites and that, under unavoidable circumstances, the workers should wear earplugs.

As he did not regard the noise at the production site as a problem confined to that particular enterprise, he took benevolent measures that day to decisively reduce the noise at the production sites across the country.
