For the Physical Training of Children

One day in July 1967, the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il visited the then Ragwon Cooperative Farm in Toksong County, South Hamgyong Province.

Going round the farm, he instructed that the nursery and kindergarten should be provided with good facilities for the sunbathing of the children.

Watching the sunbathing facility at the farm’s kindergarten, he said that conditions should be created for the children to sunbathe all year round, not merely in summer.

He then told the officials concerned to manufacture and install more sports apparatuses at the nursery and kindergarten so that the children could build up their bodies.

Later, the nursery and kindergarten were equipped with facilities for sunbathing and sports apparatuses needed for children’s physical training.
